"My artistic development started over 30 years ago in Poland with the Commercial Art & Sacral Art College. In 1987, along with my family, I became a political refugee and my formal education had to be put on hold. Once we arrived in Canada, I began creating again and had numerous exhibitions in Kitchener and Greater Toronto Area. I also wrote, co-produced and co-directed multi-media performances which involved multicultural artists and audiences. In 1997, we relocated to the United States where we resided for over 5 years. While in Colorado, I strengthened my education and graduated with Magnum Cum Laude from the University of Colorado Fine Art Studio program. I also had successful solo art shows at Canaan Gallery in Denver. In 2001, we returned to Canada and I established ArtVeritas Visual Art Studio in Oakville, Ontario. I began to teach art to people of all ages and prepared students for post-secondary art related programs, meanwhile continuing to create my own original artwork. In 2004, I attended York University for the full-time Teachers College program and earned a Bachelor degree in Education, specializing in Visual Arts and Social Sciences. For several years, I have been teaching in International & Private schools, including Bronte College in Mississauga, Wheatley Private School in St. Catherines, and the Summer Camp Visual Art Program at Appleby College in Oakville, Ontario. I also had the opportunity to teach a Visual Art Summer Program in Abruzzo, Italy to mainly Canadian and American high school students.

In 2011, I was invited as a select participant for a Artist Symposium in Greece. Unfortunately, before I was able to reach the symposium, my late husband passed away tragically on the island of Paros, Greece. After some time, I was able to travel and found my way to Kinsale, Ireland where I met my present husband. My faith and family, along with my two daughters and two grand-daughters are a constant source of strength and inspiration for my work.

At present, I am a full-time artist. My work has been on display and sold at both Engine Gallery & Arta Gallery in Distillery District in Toronto, as well as at Town Square Gallery in Oakville, Ontario. I recently had solo shows at TAG Gallery in St. Catherines, Ontario and at the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre, in Niagara on the Lake. I have also designed my own set of scarves, pocket squares and women's tops through VIDA & Co. All pieces are created from my original works of art. My work is presently for sale on my website and I am also available on Facebook. Please check out my events page for more details of past, current and future events."
